Musical Bio
Welcome! As a performing pianist and educator around Seattle, Sarah works to inspire others through music. She believes there is no age too young to begin playing, performing, and building confidence through student collaboration. She founded Puget Sound Music Academy in 2016 with a dream to offer the best collaborative music education to students of all ages. She has performed with the Cascade Youth Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Pacific University Orchestra, Seattle Rock Orchestra, and Northwest Symphony Orchestra among others.
Sarah has further studied piano at Domaine Forget Academy of Music and worked as resident supervisor at the Aspen Summer Music Festival and School. She can be found performing with ensembles such as Seattle Rock Orchestra, or performing solo for fine-dining such as Canlis Restaurant. She earned her Masters in Teaching through Antioch University Seattle and offers piano and violin lessons for all ages. As a two-time Forbes Under 30 Fellow, Sarah has attended Forbes Under 30 Summits focused on education and social entrepreneurship, and recently spoke at the National Association for Music Education conference around collaborative education.
